I'm Bill, and my wife is Jody—partners in business, and the proud founders of Pilchuck Cabinetry and Finishing Inc. Ours is a story of sawdust, sweat, and a shared belief that great work comes from the heart.
Before Pilchuck ever had a name, it had a dream—one built from the ground up, not in a boardroom, but in a garage, late at night, after long days of learning and labor. As an apprentice in a local cabinet shop, I absorbed everything I could from the old-school craftsmen around me—learning the art, the patience, and the pride that goes into truly custom work. I was determined to provide financial stability for my family on my own terms and was willing to do whatever it took to get there.
In 2003, with the unconditional support of my wife, Jody, we turned that dream into reality.
We launched Pilchuck Cabinetry with nothing but our combined skills, a deep respect for quality, and a promise to treat every home like our own. From day one, it’s been more than just cabinets for us. It’s been about relationships—earning trust, delivering excellence, and bringing a personal touch to every single project.
I still lead in the shop, hands-on with every detail, every cut, every finish. Jody keeps the gears turning—managing the books, and handling the details. I have a handful of excellent employees who make up the backbone of PCFI today and embody our core values to the fullest. Together, we’re not just building cabinetry—we’re building a legacy.
Over the years, we’ve had the honor of serving homeowners, builders, and designers across Seattle and beyond. And through it all, we’ve stayed true to the values we started with: honesty, craftsmanship, and family.
